University of Richmond Outdoor Alliance
Where does someone go on campus to find out about all of the fabulous outdoors and green programs UR has to offer?
That is the question we are working to answer.
There are lots of way to get involved and active in the outdoors and supporting sustainable practices that help maintain these opportunities for years to come. Unfortunately, the programs and organizations that provide these opportunities are spread out across many departments at the University. While we, the students, are working to make a unified network that connects these departments and makes their programs more known and appreciated. This website is meant to serve as an intermediate step, which links together the different outdoor and green programs at the University to make them all more accessible and recognized. Links are provided to different areas within Student Activities, Living-Learning, Recreation & Wellness and other resources to help students get out to enjoy and preserve nature.
If you would like to learn more or help support a student led initiative to make a comprehensive Outdoor Program, please contact us at [email protected]. Please also let us know if you would like anything added or changed on this site.
